Publication Guidelines
Only a small fraction of articles submitted to this site are published. This is not because it is difficult to get published, but because
most people don't bother reading the very simple guidelines provided. Follow these guidelines and your article will likely get published!
- Please check your article for spelling and grammar mistakes. This seems like it ought to be an obvious criteria for an educational website,
but it's really shocking how many people submit articles with atrocious spelling and grammar. Proofread your article, and maybe get a friend to proofread it as well.
- Your article must be of value to educators. Again, this seems to be obvious, based on the title of the site, but experience has shown that not everyone stops to think
about things like that before writing an article.
- Do not write an article which has, as its purpose, to advertise and promote your website. If you are interested in advertising a product, service, or website, click here for
advertising information.
- Writing an article about using the quadratic formula is not the same as writing an article about teaching the quadratic formula. The first type of article
is unlikely to be accepted for publication. The second will.
